The Section Mill was commissioned in 2011 including advanced rolling mill mechanical equipment alongside electrics and automation systems utilizing Siemens-brand technology.

The rolling reutilized a minor portion of the equipment of the previous rolling mill standing there. Those are the finishing mill stands, the high-speed shear before cooling bed and finishing cold shear.

Designed for a production capacity of 600,000 tons per year, the mill can process either billets, blooms, or beam blanks into a wide mix of beams, sections, and flat bars.

It features a 120 tph walking beam reheating furnace, a breakdown reversible mill (BDM), a three stand ultra-flexible reversing mill (UFR), and an eight-stand continuous finishing mill.

The facility is further equipped with advanced finishing services, including straighteners, cutting saws, cold shear, magnetic stackers, and strapping machines.

The mill is offered with an extensive list of consumables and spare parts.
