A fully automatic machine equipped with two SIROCUT-type machines, coil-fed.
The weft wire incorporates dynamic drawing, allowing to thread up to 120 x 2 weft wires per minute.
The machine has the advantage of being fed directly by its system, which automatically prepares each well-drawn, cut wire and quickly positions it for welding; so, with no need for drawing/cutting (an additional pass) and no need to have a stock of pre-cut bars.

The machine stores the different mesh types in a "recipe" that can be
reproduced later.
If the mesh widths vary, the machine automatically adjusts the wire
straightener settings.

Equipment description
Reels for longitudinal wires
- 16 reels for the 16 coils of longitudinal wire, maximum capacity 2.5 tonnes each. The wire is unwound vertically. Loading each reel is recommended using an overhead crane, which the buyer should provide for in their factory
Loop control for longitudinal wires
- A control device for the 16 wires manages each wire via a rotating, movable wire guide bar. Wire advancement is achieved by a motorized, inverter-controlled unit
Advancement unit for longitudinal wires
- An automatic incremental feed system with a variable stroke of 30-200 mm, depending on the selected mesh size. Feeding is controlled by brushless servo motors and managed by a PLC. The machine is supplied with 32 drive rollers corresponding to the mesh 100–150 to 200 mm between longitudinal wires. To change the mesh size, simply move the position of the wires without any further mechanical adjustments
Weft yarn reel
- The unwinding takes place at the No. 2 unwinder for the weft yarn reel, with a maximum capacity of 2.5 tonnes. Unwinding is done vertically by passing the yarn through a reel controlled by pneumatic actuators. The unwinder is equipped with an adjustable arm for unwinding the coils and a brake to prevent knots when the reel is stopped
SIROCAT rotary straightener for automatic feeding of weft yarn
- An automatic wire straightener controlled by a Siemens S7 300 PLC, with a rotary straightener equipped with tungsten carbide bushings for optimal wire straightening. The system is supplied with a Siemens inverter-controlled motor and an accumulator for the weft wire
Remote store for automatic weft wire feeding:
- A metal structure equipped with detectors to ensure constant filling of the loop. This unit is powered by the same motorized system as the trainer
Weft yarn threading unit
- A motorized automatic threading system allows for the pulling and threading of the transverse wire into the welding zone. This unit includes an automatic hydraulic shear with a maximum cutting capacity for wires up to Ø10.0 mm or up to 100 strokes/minute
Hydraulic power pack
- The machine is supplied with a hydraulic power unit for operating the shear cutting the weft thread and is automatically controlled.
Guides for threading the weft thread
- A complete series of opening guides for the passage of the weft wire to its final welding position under the electrodes
Welding unit
- 2 welding units, each controlled by an electrical and pneumatic system. The welding head is equipped with 16 electrodes, all laterally adjustable. The welding unit is adequately cooled by a dedicated circuit. The power and configuration of the welding unit allow for a maximum overlap of 10 mm over 8 mm. Each welder contains:
< Nr. 8 transformers Sn 50% =125k VA, double output;
Set of specific copper electrodes for welding;
< The cooling piping;

Automatic shears
- A main shear for cutting wire mesh. Maximum cutting capacity: 24 wires with a diameter of 8 mm. The shear is controlled by a PLC and electrically operated by a brake/clutch unit. The machine can create different overhangs at the front and rear of the trellis. This operation is automatic (trellis pattern recipe)
Automatic stacker
- Automatic stacker for flat mesh (plates) 2.4 x 6.0 mt. The finished package is approximately 60 cm high. The unit is equipped with an alignment system to properly compact the pile before it exits. The compactor operates in both directions: longitudinally and laterally
Motorized conveyor belt for package extraction
▪ Motorized unit of 6.0 m length allows the package to exit automatically;
▪ A second motorized conveyor belt, 6.0 m long, allows the package to exit with local
"walk by sight" control
Tilting turner for 2.4 x 6.0m panels
- Automatic turner for tilting welded plates measuring 2.4m x 6.0m and max. 200Kg. This unit is designed for use with PLC-controlled servo motors
HMI Operator Panel touch screen
- Main control panel (components according to IEC standard) for viewing all controls for complete machine monitoring. Programming is performed via a multi-language HMI touchscreen control panel
Electrical cabinet
- Electrical section: all control equipment is housed in a cabinet along with all monitoring devices such as voltmeters, ammeters, the main switch, and welding controls. The controls are integrated onto mini-control panels conveniently distributed along the machine. Machine equipped with a Siemens S7 300 industrial PLC. Each welding transformer is managed by its own control device. The electrical cabinet is cooled and sealed against dust
Unloading overhead crane
- The machine is equipped with an overhead crane that ensures the unloading of the roller conveyor belt. Final and package storage capacity 5 Tons
