F&P Tinplate Sheeting Lines (New) #3472

Description

Our precision tinplate sheeting lines (always Custom-tailored) level or straighten, cut to length with tight tolerance, sort and pile square/rectangular or scrolled sheets at high speed; include underdriven cutoff presses and multi-station sheet stackers. -- The process of (mostly electrolytically) coating steel coils with tin, gives the product known as "tinplate". Today the primary use of tinplate is the manufacture of cans for fish, fruit, meat etc. Great formability, strength, solderability/weldability, and paintability; corrosion-resistance; attractive bright finish... are the main features of tinplate. The material thickness generally is from .15mm (.006") to .50mm (.02"). Scroll sheeting is the typical technology in use when cutting to length tinplate coils.
